We are excited to announce our 2025 OPDL Trials for interested U13 players (2012 born).
If you are interested in playing for BVB IA Waterloo for the 2025 season, kindly follow the instructions below to register for Trials.
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
After logging into your PowerUp account, select the product 2025OPDLTr, fill the waivers and pay the $20 fee to complete the checkout process. Registration and the $20 Trial fee are required prior to attending the first Trial session.
*If you are looking to register for both OPDL and Competitive Trials you are required to pay only the $20 OPDL fee. Please email Teddy Hiadzi and Keyshia Martin to ensure you are placed on both the OPDL and Competitive Trial lists.*
TRIALS INFORMATION
Location: RIM Park AF2
Drop-off: 15 minutes prior to session start time
Things to bring: appropriate sportswear, soccer shoes (cleats/boots recommended), shin pads, and lots of water!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Any current OPDL players registered to a club other than BVB IA Waterloo MUST bring a signed OPDL Trial Permission Form to the first trial and/or have already sent it to Keyshia Martin prior to arrival. This form can be found within the OPDL Trial Guidelines - see below.
For players looking to trial for an age division above their birth year,
Internal players must receive permission from their current Club Program Lead prior to participating.
External players must trial at their respective birth years for initial assessment.
Only one trial registration is required per player, but please reach out to the respective Club Program Leads should a player be trialling for more than one program (e.g. Phase 1 and Phase 2 OPDL trials, Competitive and OPDL trials, etc.).
*2013-born players require OPDL approval to be offered a position.
