This program, in partnership with Xtra Time (DEFC), is a small group training program for competitive players in the region. The training will be conducted by Xtra Time’s technical experts and aims to give players more detailed, technical training in a small group setting.
**This program is aimed at players playing at a high competitive level**
Xtra Time focuses purely on technical skill development - the basics at an elite level. All sessions are led in small groups to support small-scale, personalized instruction and feedback. Each group session will be led by a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach. The coaching methodology is designed to progress and advance skill development based on the individual’s capabilities. This includes work on ball control & manipulation, passing & receiving, scanning & awareness, turning, and more.
Age-specific training groups from U8 to U18 male and female players, on Friday evenings from 5:30pm to 8:20pm.

Improve Skill Training
This is the "improve" stage where training looks to start advancing foundational skills learned in the younger years. The sessions will follow a similar structure to the foundation stage but start to become more challenging and progressional, and begin adding in more game play and exercises that include opposition.

Advanced Skill Training (Competitive)
This training is designed to "advance" skills that young players have already learned but not mastered. These sessions will be a higher intensity and begin to include coaching on awareness, intelligence, decision making, and more advanced skills like ball striking. Ages are for birth years 2010 to 2005 and players will be placed in small groups with similar ages.
